Cja334 - The website I chose for my analysis is tigerdirect.com. Tigerdirect.com is an online store that is used for purchase of electronics from computers to audio equipment. The site contains overviews and ratings for all products that sold in the store. This is a business that is known by all that have searched for any type of computer products. It pops up in the search engine and is also one of the stores recommended when performing a search in amazon.com or a site similar.
Flaws:
Cja 334 - Immediately upon entering the website you are hit with a lot of different logos, products, advertising for contest, pop-up windows, etc. The one flaw with that is that it can confuse some people (especially those who are new to using the website) and just may make them back out and go to alternate online retailers who specialize in the same thing that you sell (Newegg, Xoxide, etc).
It236 - The other flaw which I saw that could also hurt its website is the amount of white in the web pages design. This can be unsettling for the eyes and lead to eye pain (it happens to me a lot; I spend over 5 hours a day on the internet) so adding other colors can be essential in web design.
It 236 - The third flaw which comes to mind right of the bat is that tiger direct sometimes has products listed as say “GTX 260” but when you input in the search bar “gtx 260” it seems to not find anything (I think capitalization should not matter when it comes to searching for products; I found myself looking for products on their website thinking they did not have it because it did not show in the search engine but searching manually in the section I found the item) that is totally inexcusable and should be fixed ASAP.
